Our passion at Mike Maher Construction is creating custom homes for residents in or around New Bern, NC, and Craven and Pamlico counties. We love sharing the excitement with our clients, laying out the designs, lifting the idea off the paper, and building it piece by piece on their property. Not Chip and Joanna, but Mike and Jane! Mike and Jane Maher have been forging their own way in the custom home construction industry for more than 20 years together. They never look over their shoulders at their competitors or ask what others are doing. They have a vision in mind and are confidently creating their own way.
Mike Maher Construction focuses on providing homes that look and feel high-end – because they are high-end! We don’t use builder-grade materials; we only use the highest quality materials to create a luxurious home that will stand strong for centuries.
Mike
Long before Mike got his contractor’s license, he was working in the construction industry. However, in the ’80s, the term carpenter was viewed differently than it is today. Mike’s beginnings were in the field, where not only did he run framing crews that framed houses and apartment buildings, but he installed siding, windows, roofs, doors, flooring, and anything else that was needed. He understands this business from the inside out!
Jane
Jane has a background in real estate, and as a Realtor, she specialized in new construction. She has now been involved in custom home building for more than 20 years. It’s in her DNA. It’s her hobby and her passion, and it always has been. Our customers and the projects they bring us are the very thing we were meant to do.
